Current Concepts in Canine Biliary Tract Disease

Program: In this session, Dr. Wennogle will describe the general approach to the diagnosis and therapeutic management of the canine patient with biliary tract disease. Specifically, Dr. Wennogle will cover current concepts in etiopathogenic, clinical, diagnostic, and therapeutic features of gallbladder mucocele, cholecystitis, cholelithiasis, and extra-hepatic biliary tract obstruction. Additionally, due to their increasing recognition in veterinary medicine, ductal plate abnormalities will be described with case examples featured.
