Anesthesia for Patients with Cardiac Disease and Troubleshooting Cardiovascular Depression Under Anesthesia

Program: A private practice-oriented discussion of the relevant cardiac physiology as applied to inhalant anesthetics, induction medications, sedatives and analgesics. Intending to help the listener make the best choices for the patients with cardiac disease. We will discuss utilizing the knowledge of the impact of these medications to improve cardiovascular performance of healthy patients under anesthesia and the medications that can be added to counteract the cardiovascular depression.
